Casino Games
Some of you know the casinos almost as well as me, but I also know that some of you just fell off the turnip truck. So I’m gonna take a second to go over the types of games that you’d be likely to find in an online casino, and show you where they might be just a little different online than they are in the “real world” casinos.
First off, POKER. That’s my game, so it was one of the first games that I tried when I started to check out this online casino world. My first time out, I spent with one eye closed and my face all scrunched up like I was sucking lemons — just because I was expecting to see something like those horrible poker games that I’ve downloaded from free software sites on the internet.
Lucky for me, I was playing at Cherry Red Casino, and in no time my face relaxed and my eye opened again — and good thing too, because I sure got an eyeful! The look of this poker game was outstanding (if it had been a woman I’d have proposed right then and there. But casinos always make me romantic, anyway…). It actually played like real poker, but smoother and quicker. Before I knew it, I was playing more hands in one hour than I’d ever played in my longest poker marathon…and that was before I found out that they’d let me play more than one hand at a time! I thought I must have died and gone to heaven, but it was really just Cherry Red Casino.
Okay, I said…so they scored one with the poker. How about my 2nd favorite casino game — craps? I kinda wanted to see someone go down, but I just had a feeling that Cherry Red was just going to hand me another ace. So instead I made my way over to Crazy Slots…and wouldn’t you know it, turns out they’ve got the best craps I’ve ever played. That screen was as big and green as a football field, and those dice rolled like real dice. I ended up winning a bunch of money, and I thought to myself “Okay, that’s two lucky breaks in a row…the next guy is gonna break this streak.”
Yeah, right…my next stop was Rome Casino, and wouldn’t you know it, they were amazing too. I hopped on a bunch of their slot machines and just smiled and smiled the whole time. They had great classic slots, like the ones I knew from the old days, but the high-tech video slots really did it for me (try Jackpot Party — I was on that one for WAY too long). All sorts of 3D graphics and effects and things whizzing around…I’m not really sure what was going on but before I knew it I was several dollars richer.
I didn’t know whether to be happy that I’d had so much good luck or angry that I couldn’t find something the online casinos were bad at…so I figured I had an ace in the hole when I stopped by Slots Oasis. “Aha,” I thought, with a mean little smile, “everything else but the slots must be second-rate.” Oy vey, that was the wrong idea…because everything they had was top-of-the-line. I really tried to find a weak spot…I played blackjack, I played roulette, I played baccarat…I played keno, even! And everything was realistic and a joy to play. Now I won’t pretend that I won every time, but I still won often enough to make me wonder how they could make enough off of guys like me to make such a high-class product…and still offer those kinds of bonuses!
Well, I know when I’m beat. I just can’t find a game that these guys don’t do well. These online casinos have all the great classic casino games, plus a bunch more that I’d never heard of (or never felt comfortable trying out in the casinos).
