The old sayings “no such thing as a free lunch” and “you get what you pay for” got thrown right out the window once the internet started to really get going. Suddenly a lot of people were starting to find really good ways to give something for free, and that goes double for my friends over at the best online casinos.

Am I saying it’s out of the pure goodness of their hearts? Nah…you and I both know that they stand to gain something from it. It may just be the word-of-mouth advertising they get when everybody starts to hear how good their online casino games are — or maybe they know that if people play their best free online games (especially the sim slots free games), we’ll be so impressed and addicted to the fun of it that we’ll be eager to try our luck winning money with them.
And when it gets right down to it, I’ve got no beef with that logic.
After all, I get to play the games I like for free. Maybe just to have fun, and maybe to make sure that I have the skills to take on the real people that I’ll be playing against at the casinos. Practice is the only way to get good, you know, and there are some real good people at those casinos (in fact, I’ve heard of at least four major poker stars who have been seen in the online poker rooms…maybe someday they’ll be saying that about me. Hey, maybe they are already!).
So if I really am such a cheapskate and I don’t want to part with a single penny of my precious money, I just don’t have to; free means free, and there are enough free online games to last me for years. Just between you and me, there are a couple of games on these that are totally new to me (and who would have thought that was possible?), so at this point I don’t know that I’ll ever be good enough to compete head-to-head for money with the pros…maybe after some practice, I’ll find a friendly game or two and test my skills. ‘
Another great thing about the online casinos is that there’s so many choices…so you can be real specific about the people and rooms you play in (and, let’s be honest, about the minimum bets you want to put on the line!).
